Tunisia is one of the most coveted by the world of travling, who want to go on holiday abroad at a very reasonable price, after Spain destinations.

Here are 7 exceptional attractions to visit in Tunisia

1 - Carthage

This is a very interesting archaeological site where it is possible to visit the Antonine Baths, theater and amphitheater. Visitors interested in sculptures and mosaics can enrich their culture by visiting the National Museum.

2 - Tunis

The capital of Tunisia, Tunis, is worth visiting for its beautiful architecture. The medina is a major tourist attraction of Tunis where you can visit the souk, stalls or small restaurants. Bourguiba Avenue is the main aisle. A visit to the Al-Zaytuna Mosque and the Bardo Museum is required (it has a beautiful collection of Roman mosaics).

3 - Tozeur

The oasis of Tozeur is considered to be one of the best in Africa. Thousands of palm trees are located on the territory. The Eden Palm is a museum located in Tozeur's palm grove that reveals valuable information about the date palm.

4 - Sidi Bou Said

The village artisans, Sidi Bou Said, reflects the traditional Tunisian architecture. White and blue are the predominant colors in this village. Coffee with the mats will be very popular with fans of mint tea.

5 - Kairouan

This is the fourth holy city and the capital of Islam in North Africa. Kairouan has a large mosque that was built in the 7th century Sidi Uqba. The mausoleum of the Holy Man Zemaa Abu el Balawi, the pool of Aghladites and Medina are also interesting places to visit during a stay in Kairouan.

 6 - Matmata

This mountain village is home to cave dwellings. The hotel Sidi Driss and the lunar landscape of Matmata served as the film "Star Wars."

7 - The desert

It's at the Grand Erg Oriental, near the border with Algeria, you can visit the Sahara. An idyllic place for passionate walking and camel rides, wishing to venture into the dunes of the Sahara.

And Tunisia also has many other interesting sites such as the amphitheater of El Jem, the site of Dougga, the Ribat and the Medina of Sousse and Jebel Ressas.

Tunisia is a very interesting destination where you can combine sightseeing, relaxing on the sandy beaches and recreational activities of all kinds (camel ride, quad biking, diving ...).
